Essential Care Tips for Your Crystal Candle

  1. First Burn Importance: Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts to the edges during the first use to prevent tunnelling and ensure an even burn in subsequent uses.
  2. Trim the Wick: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting to avoid excessive smoke and ensure a clean, even burn without crackling or soot dispersion.
  3. Avoid Drafts: Keep your candle away from drafts to prevent uneven burning and dripping. Place it on a stable surface like a tray or table, away from windows or vents.
  4. Burn Time: Burn the candle for 2-3 hours each time to prevent tunnelling and create an even melt pool for consistent burning.
  5. Use a Candle Snuffer: Extinguish the flame with a snuffer to minimize smoke and disturbance to the wax and wick, ensuring proper care for your candle.
  6. Centre the Wick: After extinguishing the flame, recentre the wick while the wax is warm to ensure a straight and even burn in the next use.
  7. Safe Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place to preserve its fragrance and prevent discoloration or warping, always keeping an eye on the lit candle to prevent accidents.

Never leave a lit candle unattended. Ensure it is KEPT OUT OF REACH of children and pets.

The candle container will become hot after burning – let it cool down completely before touching. DO NOT replace the lid on the jar until the wax has fully solidified again. (Wait at least 30 minutes).

Our candles are crafted from natural coco soy wax – you might notice some variations such as frosting, cracking, or sweating in the wax. These characteristics are typical for natural wax and do not affect the candle's performance.

Candles made from natural wax are sensitive to temperature changes. We advise keeping them out of direct sunlight and avoiding exposure to significant temperature fluctuations.
